Volusia Speedway Park opened their 2010 season with a cool, brisk wind and plenty of racecars and fans. Although it is March, the night air is still cool so jackets, blankets, hot chocolate, and coffee were in order. Fans were treated to fireworks salutes for the National Anthem and the start of each feature. More than 90 cars filled the pit area to kick off the Volusia Speedway 2010 season. Fans went home at the end of the night with memories of incredible racing action and several new faces in Victory Lane. |

Final preparations are in progress for the opening of the 2010 weekly racing season at Volusia Speedway Park. A free preview of the 2010 season can be seen when racers take advantage of the Open Practice scheduled for Saturday, March 6.
